Christmas is a time of parties, music, food, friends and family.

We shop 'til we drop looking for the perfect gifts.

We pull out books & boxes for grandma's best cookie recipes.

We buy sparkling dresses & new clothes for the parties.

Our schedules fill up and we sleep less.

SO much to do and so little time!

Why? What are we really celebrating? What are we doing?

In the chaos and busyness, we are tired, overworked, frazzled and worried about so many little things... that seem important but really are not.

It's not "Happy Holidays" or Santa Baby or Feliz Navidad.

It is Christmas... even Xmas is okay when you understand,

Our peace is not found in the perfect gift or infamous recipe or the right places and right people. 

Peace is only found in the Prince of Peace. Yeshua/Jesus is the Prince of Peace.

He is our peace because He alone can bridge the gap between humanity and the eternal God, our creator and father.

His birth was only the beginning. His life was for the purpose of showing us Who God is: His love, mercy and grace. God is love and we live in darkness, unaware of what real love is. It is sacrificial. It is forgiving. It is forever. God is perfected love.

Because He loved His created humanity so very much, He chose to come to us in the form of Jesus so that we could know Him better. We could hear Him speak, see Him act, watch Him love/serve/heal/deliver... us. 

Jesus brings us the peace of knowing God. He brings us the peace of experiencing God's presence and presents! Gifts like salvation from our sins and walking in darkness. Gifts of providing us what we most dearly need. Gifts of His presence in the Holy Spirit of those who will trust God enough to give Him their heart. Gifts of promising a better future, a life of meaningful service, eternal joy in Father's House in a real Heaven.

We are children of the Prince of Peace.

There is one gift you can receive today: The Peace of God. 

Just look up. Ask God to forgive your sins. Accept that Jesus died to do that for you. His blood shed in your place bridged the gap between you and God. You can know Him. You can talk to Him. He will respond. He will embrace you and fill you with His love and joy. You can know Him!!

Then I guarantee that you will know His PEACE. In the chaos and darkness, His peace will direct your steps and support you in troubled times.

You will never be alone again. You will be able to be full of peace in every situation as you trust in a good, loving and real Father who has your best interests at heart.
