This week we celebrate the last of the 7 feasts/fasts of God as recorded in Leviticus 23.

There are 7 assigned Holy Days for God's revealed plan and 3 (Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles) are High Holy Days.

With Passover being the sacrifice of the Lamb of God,

Pentecost being the gift of God via the Holy Spirit to all Believers,

the last Holy Feast is Tabernacles, or Sukkot (a sukkah is a temporary tabernacle or dwelling.)

We will build our church's sukkah and decorate with fruits and harvest pictures, There will be turkey a la king for lunch and apple/pumpkin pies and desserts. We will light a fire to warm ourselves and roast marshmallows. But first we will listen to why this day is important.

HOPE fuels our FAITH and God is why we live the way we do. We celebrate Yeshua/Jesus and strive to live as He taught us. We look forward to His promised return to take the Bride/Church to His Father's House to be with Him eternally. This world is not our real home. It is only a temporary place where we learn, are tested, and prepare for the coming Groom.

Sukkot shows us that one day, Believing Jews and Gentiles will gather together in Father's House to be with Him as His beloved children. No more worries, pain, sorrow, disease, death or partings. No more loneliness, fear, hate or feeling unloved or unwanted. It's gonna be AMAZING!

Tabernacles reminds us that we are here temporarily, and we live in these tents/bodies temporarily and this world is temporary.

But we have an eternal existence, eternal home and eternal Father where everything will be made right

Are you ready? Are you getting prepared? Are you looking up for His return?

Don't try to wait until the last minute. It'll pass in a millisecond!! And be over.

Maranatha, y'all! Keep looking up.
